Gipfel’s Eiger series are light weight yet spacious tents featuring light weight materials and Featherlite poles.
The tripod style design with a hub on one side makes the tent free standing with minimal weight of poles. The inner canopy is made from ultralight Nylon. The outer tent is made from siliconized Nylons to provide strength with minimal bulk and weight.
The outer rainfly and groundsheet are fully seam taped and then tested under heavy rain. The ground sheet is bathtub style with minimal seams and reinforced stress points.

The interiors of this tent are ample for two persons. The tent is built to withstand heavy downpours of rain and even snow. The tent features aviation grade Aluminium poles in a classic X-pole dome type arrangement. The FIRA 3 and 4 persons also feature a very large vestibule.
The tent is also built with very durable materials that can take a lot of rough use and UV- exposure.
Fira is an all rounder tent and one of the most loved tents.
